Debademba (BFA|MLI|FRA)Guitarist Abdoulaye Traoré from Burkina Faso and the Malian singer Mohamed Diaby are a musical dreamteam with lots of power and charisma. They play the blues, dance the rock’n’roll and celebrate their Westafrican roots with afrobeat, highlife and mbalax styles. Since they met in Paris they shake the city’s live scene and pick up the inspiration currently in the air. And they found other musicians sharing their vision of a modern African sound and bringing it on stage. They are ‘one big family’ – ‚Debademba’ in Bambara, the Mande language spoken in Mali.
