This ensemble is not a proper band but an experimental and open project with a brass band and hiphop musicians. The aim is to bring together musicians, rappers and composers from different regions of Europe to create dialogue and conciliation, and to break language and cultural barriers as well as to introduce music to spheres normally excluded from participating in culture. At their concerts Rebel Babel combine hip-hop, folk, funk and brass band sounds with multilingual rap.
