„Deutschlandlieder (German Songs) – Almanya Türküleri“ celebrates a widely unknown part of Germany’s musical and cultural history. We owe it to the first generation of Turkish working migrants and also to their children. They wrote innumerous songs about homesickness, life in a foreign country, about hard work, love, new friendships. „Deutschlandlieder – Almanya Türküleri“ is their perspective on West Germany. Their attitude towards life then and now, told by artists around the musician and filmmaker Nedim Hazar. And it is a concert by different generations – from the first Turkish Folk singer in Germany Metin Türköz, through Jazz singer Özay Fecht to Rapper Eko Fresh.
